Our kids have been going to Modest Fly Art Studio for over two years and they love it! This is not just a place for kids to draw, rather this is a real art studio where kids are taught the fundamentals of art and then build upon that to a variety of art styles including painting, collage, and animation. Our kids love the teachers and we have seen real progression in our kids art skills. We are lucky to have this business in our community and proud to send our kids here. The owner has even opened her studio up for tutoring to help kids with online classes if an adult is not around. We are very happy with everything but most of all the teachers who do a great job expanding our kids artistic abilities!

This art studio is truly phenomenal and I have so much appreciation for all the little details they implement to make this studio a happy place for so many growing artists!

This art studio is truly phenomenal and I have so much appreciation for all the little details they implement to make this studio a happy place for so many growing artists!
I toured a few other studios in the foothills area and there were many differentiating factors to note. I toured another place next to the coffee shop I frequent daily and while it would have been convenient for me to enroll my kids in that art studio, I shadowed the class and knew it would not allow my children to explore their creativity as all students were doing the same exact art and not exploring with different mediums.
This art studio is very large with various areas exploring different mediums of art. You have kids doing paper mache, experimenting with clay and pottery, paint, water color, sketching, other arts and crafts....the list goes on! I love when they are playing music in the background - I think it helps the kids find their rhythm. All the staff are remarkable and SO great with kids! They have a very well organized art gallery every year and it is something we look forward to attending.
My son has been coming here for a year and a half and my daughter started today! I know it says age 6 and up online but both my kids started under age 6 and have been doing great! My son even made his own space inspired Dr. Seuss book! The staff print out photos my son likes (of all things space) and then they work on things that inspire him. I am so happy my daughter will be starting here, too. I think art is a great way for kids to be creative and use their imagination.

I can't say enough great things about Modest Fly. My daughter has always had artistic abilities and we were looking for an art studio that could bring out her talent and cater to her love for art. I can't say enough great things about Modest Fly. My daughter has always had artistic abilities and we were looking for an art studio that could bring out her talent and cater to her love for art. Mrs. Eeeren is wonderful; she is passionate about art and more importantly, her students. In fact, all of the teachers at Modest Fly are great and my daughter loves them all. She is learning new skills every week and I can definitely see the difference in her drawings. Not only does Modest Fly teach students core art skills using various mediums, they make it fun and interesting, and keep the kids passionate about art. She looks forward to art class and is very sad when something comes up and we can attend. If you are looking for a great are studio/classes, this is it.

I absolutely love Modest Fly!! My son loves all of the staff. They encourage him to expand his drawing talent! I also love that he's not sitting infront of an iPad and instead has these classes to attend. Thank you to Mrs.Eeren & the other ladies who are so sweet with all of the kids there.

I worked at Modest Fly Art for 6 years of my life and all I have to say about the business is that if you genuinely want you or your child to grow their artistic abilities in a wonderful environment, there is no place like Modest Fly! The progress seen in children's artwork is amazing. Not only do they advance their hand-eye coordination, they truly become engaged in their work and grow a desire to strive for better. All the instructors are incredibly talented, friendly and kind. Each and every one of them truly care about their students. Most kids come in with the idea that they will be drawing and painting, but Modest Fly introduces many types of media. From clay, papier-mâché, ink, oil, watercolor, oil pastel, charcoal, etc (just to name a few) you or your child will get to experience a new world of creativity. It's a beautiful environment to introduce to your child. They not only learn how to be an artist, the instructors educate them on famous artists too! They get to learn about many artistic geniuses, their history, and their techniques. The progress seen in students is like no other. If your child has had difficulty in their handwriting, focus, or expanding their imagination, coming to Modest Fly Art is also an amazing way to improve their skills in those categories. The instructors are very patient and encouraging; they find many solutions to help your child improve their skills with each class. The wonderful staff and Mrs. Eerren put together a beautiful art show annually where all the students best work is showcased for parents to see. Each and every show has been put out with effort, attention to detail, and is an experience that will always be memorable! As a past instructor at Modest Fly Art, my experience was also just as amazing and memorable. I truly enjoyed every moment of teaching here! Not only did I get to explore artistic values, teach, and help students achieve their goals, but I myself felt that I improved as an artist with everyday that passed by. I will always be grateful to Modest Fly Art for being a part of my life. I am very grateful to have been part of their journey as well. I got to make such meaningful memories and relationships with the staff.
All in all, if you are considering signing up for art classes, Modest Fly Art will always be the right choice. It was a pleasure to experience life in the studio and I will always hold Modest Fly Art dear to my heart. I knew it was a blessing to have been a part of their business from the day I walked in. My kids have been going to Modestfly for 5 years now. They absolutely love it! The teachers there are so caring and good at what they do. It's a wonderful environment to be in to get your creative juices flowing. The owner Eerren is always there to welcome you with a big smile. She's super sweet and very involved with everything.
