Executive Director
Iren Tsaturyan is the Founder of Modest Fly Art, an artist and educator who believes deeply in the restorative and transformative power of creativity.
Modest Fly Art was born from Iren’s own lived experience with art as a source of peace, resilience, and clarity. What began as a personal refuge gradually became a calling — to create spaces where others could feel seen, supported, and empowered through artistic expression. She did not build the organization for profit, but from a sincere desire to serve, to teach, and to cultivate meaningful experiences that extend beyond the studio walls.
Iren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design and a Master of Arts in Education from Boston University. Her background in both fine art and education informs a leadership style that is thoughtful, intentional, and community-centered. She has led nonprofit operations, developed curriculum, and designed programs that prioritize both artistic excellence and emotional growth.

Non-Profit Operations Director
Sofia Kazorian is a passionate artist and nonprofit director who has been part of Modest Fly Art for over 12 years. With a background in Political Science, she combines her love for art and community work to create meaningful programs that inspire connection and creativity. Sofia also serves as a Student Commissioner at Glendale City Hall, where she enjoys supporting arts and culture initiatives that bring people together.

Non-Profit Program Coordinator
Art has always been a vital part of Samantha's life, influencing her connections with others since childhood through artistic gymnastics and performing arts. Inspired by her mother's dedication to giving back, Samantha has embraced her own path of contribution. By working with kids in a nonprofit setting, she shares the joy and expression that art offers, making a meaningful impact on their lives while fostering creativity and connection.

Financial Operations & Material Production
Meet Celine, a valued member of the Modest Fly family since she was just 7 years old. What began as her journey as a student has grown into a dedicated role on the staff, where she now supports the non-profit operations of Modest Fly Art as both Financial Administrator and head of material production. From managing finances to designing and producing booklets and creative materials, Celine brings her passion for art, organization, and community service into every aspect of her work. Her evolving role reflects Modest Fly’s mission, as she continues to grow alongside the organization she deeply cherishes.
